    Notes
    • Was present at death of his father William Rudsdale on 29 Jan 1914

Used to make bullets - he'd buy the gunpowder & casings separately, make the bullets and then sell them to the local farmers.

Used to go round farms in the area with his threshing machine in the winter and sawing up wood in the summer. He also repaired agricultural machinery. Sedmans had cornstacks at the front of the house and Billy Rudsdale would do the threshing for them. Once he got two thirds of thw way down and all the mice ran out from the stack & headed for the open front door of the farmhouse.

At their home in Hawsker they had a big yard and garden attached. The yard was used to store agricultural machinery whilst it was being repaired. He also had a large saw in the yard powered by a traction engine which he would use to saw up wood for people.
